Andrew Simmerling
From Collegiate Baseball to Elite Fitness Coaching

Andrew Simmerling's journey from a NJCAA collegiate pitcher to a renowned fitness coach and hybrid athlete is fueled by his passion for athletics and pursuit of growth to lead a more fulfilling life. His mission is to inspire and guide others to squeeze more out of life using their fitness and athletic goals. After a notable baseball career at Tallahassee Community College, Andrew pursued a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Florida State University, where he deeply engaged in human performance research and community health initiatives. He is currently pursuing a Master’s of Clinical Psychology degree at Pepperdine University, leveraging the psycho-social skills from this program to build strong connections with clients and support them to develop both physically and mentally.

Andrew discovered his passion for running in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdowns, completing his first half marathon on his 30th birthday. This ignited an obsession with pushing his own physical limits and chasing new distance personal records. He has since conquered multiple road and trail races including the Marathon, 50K, and 50 Mile distance - developing an intimate understanding and respect of the training and mindset required for endurance events. Combining his collegiate athletic background and endurance experience, Andrew excels in hybrid training and coaching—a dynamic approach that blends strength training with endurance disciplines. He has helped clients train for Half-Ironmans, mountain bike races, Marathons, 100K trail races, Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim challenges, Spartan Races, Hyrox, and sub-3 hour marathons - as well as guiding beginners through their first half marathons or 10K.
